The Rolling Stones Amsterdam canceled a gig after Sir Mick Jagger, 78, tested positive for COVID-19.

Sir Mick Jagger, 78, has tested positive for coronavirus, prompting the Rolling Stones to cancel their show in Amsterdam on Monday.

The band, which also includes guitarist Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood with Steve Jordan on drums, are on their SIXTY tour, which consists of 14 shows in 10 countries across Europe.

A statement on behalf of the band said: “The Rolling Stones were forced to cancel tonight’s concert in Amsterdam at the Johan Cruyff Arena, after Mick Jagger tested positive after experiencing symptoms of Covid upon arrival at the stadium.

The Rolling Stones deeply regret tonight’s postponement, but the safety of the audience, fellow musicians and tour crew should take priority.

The show will be rescheduled at a later time. Tickets for tonight’s show will be honored on schedule. Prepare for details.

Only those who have been fully vaccinated up to the third booster dose are allowed to enter the Netherlands as long as they provide proof of vaccination.

People who have contracted Covid in the past 180 days must show evidence of recovery from COVID-19 when entering the Netherlands using an NHS Covid Pass, with a release date of more than 11 days.

Meanwhile, Mick was an all-time rock star as he and the Rolling Stones gave an amazing performance.

The band performed in Liverpool for the first time in 50 years, where they did an active production as they continued their “60th” European Tour.

Ronnie Wood matched Mick in a red leather jacket with a black cut-out design, while Keith Richards wore a dark gray leather jacket and blue bandana.

The band seemed happy to return to Liverpool, with Mick throwing his hands in the air and toward the crowd.
