Tesla Semi wows the crowd at the Modesto Christmas Parade

The Tesla Semi wowed the crowds at the annual Christmas Parade of Lights in Modesto, California.

Tesla recently delivered its first all-electric vehicle, the Series 8 Tesla Semi. which has three times the strength From other diesel trucks on the road, to Frito Lay and Pepsi on Thursdays. After receiving the car, Frito-Lay made his Series 8 truck debut at the Modesto Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3rd.

The theme for Modesto’s annual 2022 Celebration of Lights was “Driving Through the Decades”. Twitter user @bshaddix shared video footage of the Tesla Semi’s first appearance at the Christmas parade and noted that this is important for improving the air of their community.

In response to a comment about the display kit’s half-diesel pull, engine noise and exhaust, @bshaddix noted That there was a lot of fumes for the rest of the entire show. “I described the whole rest of the march. So. Numerous. Vapors.”

@bshaddix said teslarate that they read in the newspaper about the delivery and noted how good it would be for improving the valley air.

“I have my office on the parade road, so I’m there at almost every parade. When the Frito-Lay diesel was at the start, I mentioned to my wife about the new Tesla Semi, and she said look, there it is, the next truck.”

“And I froze when I saw him. There he was, in our little town, ready to go. And with rain and lights. I grabbed my camera and walked into the street.”

He added that this was the only video he was able to get and he forgot to take a shot of Santa but was amazed at his silence.

“When I came up to photograph it, it was very quiet. And the way the lights were in the booth and how it was actually painted for Frito-Lay. Just awesome. I’ve heard others say similar things. In my opinion, that was the highlight of this year’s parade. Sorry Santa. Maybe. They’ll be showing it again on the Fourth of July.”

As a technology-afraid attorney who lives in a small town in the Central Valley, @bshaddix said it was “pretty cool” to witness some of the first Tesla Semi deliveries.
