Synopsis of “Dancing With the Stars”: [Spoiler] Wins the season 31 finale

After 10 weeks, dozens of shows and countless awkward Skybox conversations, Dancing with the starsSeason 1 is out on Disney+.

In a way, revealing the winner of Season 31 on Monday felt like a footnote during the finale, which was also full of emotional farewells to… Chief Justice Lynn Goodman And the Longtime professional dancer Sheryl Burkeboth of them leave the series after joining dance in its early days.

But after wiping away all those tears, the show still had a Mirrorball Award to give, and the four remaining contestants — Wayne Brady, Charli D’Amelio, Shangela, and Gabby Wendy — still had two new routines to perform on the judges’ and viewer’s votes. First, each couple revisited a dance style they had pulled off earlier in the season, then the duo revealed their much-anticipated freestyle shows. Here’s how Monday’s final results rocked:

Then, after two hours of jamming, the results were in for the last time. Season 31 champions… Charlie and Mark! Gabe and Val are the runners-up this year, with Wayne and Whitney in third place and Shangela and Gleeb in fourth.
