After a few weeks of leaks, Sony today formally announced its latest flagship genuine wireless earrings. The new WF-1000XM4 earrings are priced at 9 279.99, and the previous WF-1000XM3, released in 2019, will be 9 229.99 in the company’s lineup. The new headphones will be available in black or light gray – both with gold accents. Available today from retailers including Amazon And Buy the best.
According to Sony, the 1000XM4 buds have a new processing chip that results in enhanced noise cancellation “at all frequencies”.
Battery life is enhanced to eight hours of continuous playback when the NC is enabled, beating competitors such as the Apple Airports Pro, the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds and the Samsung Galaxy Butt Pro. The charging case has been significantly reduced and is 40 percent smaller than before. In addition to plug-in over USB-C, it also supports Qi wireless charging.
Sony has also addressed the disappointing release from the 1000XM3: these new earrings are rated IPX4 for water and sweat resistance. The 1000XM4s also have an updated voice calling system that uses both beamforming mics and bone transmission sensors to enhance performance. But here’s a unique disappointment: Multipoint Bluetooth connections are not yet supported.
