Sonya Morgan She takes no for granted when it comes to selling her NYC home…because TMZ knew they put it back on the market!
Real estate sources tell us that the “RHONY” star is listing her Upper East Side home for $8.75 million. Sonya initially listed it in 2013 for $9.95 million amid her divorce from JP Morgan heir. John A. Morgan.
The 4 bedroom home has seen a lot of changes since then because we have been told Sonja has given it a complete renovation over the years.
She got an offer in 2017, but turned it down because her daughter needed to settle in at home amid a divorce – she’d often bring friends home from boarding school, so they still needed the space.
As we reported, she 5-storey townhouse incorporated For the seventh time in 2017, about $10 million… but to no avail.
Someone’s missing… All bedrooms feature wood-burning fireplaces, and there’s also an elevator, sauna, gym, and terrace – all located in the gorgeous Madison Avenue and Central Park neighborhood.
In January 2020, Sonja had a cash offer of $11.75 million, but the buyer ended up in February when the pandemic started. Then, for a while, she couldn’t show home because of COVID.
After the lockdown was lifted in the city, she rented the house to a family from Spain, before renting it to a new tenant, for 32 thousand a month. We were told that the tenant recently left.
Now, Sonya is back…Determined to either rent the pillow again, or sell it at the asking price.
