The Philadelphia 76ers, just like any team, were probably one of many that gave the Brooklyn Nets a call when news broke that Kevin Durant wanted out of Brooklyn. Joel Embiid definitely had it reaction to the news.
Durant’s era didn’t go as well as expected in Brooklyn dealing with injuries, as Kyrie Irving did, and the Nets didn’t have the kind of success they hoped for when they formed the duo. Durant is still an astonishing 28.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists as a member of the Nets, but the team’s success was lacking as there were a variety of reasons for that.
The Sixers would like Durant to join Embiid and James Harden in Philadelphia and The new fake trade created by Bleacher Report The star heads to the city of brotherly love.

B/R on why the Sixers made this deal
The hurdle to reunification of Durant and Harden may seem too great to clear, but Dr. K. At the very least, Durant understands Harden’s motives now, and it also seems clear that Harden’s exit had more to do with Kyrie Irving than anything else.
The Sixers side of this is self-explanatory. Durant, Harden and Embiid would be the most dangerous trio in the league, and Philly exited the Harris deal in the process of assembling a new super team.
Don’t forget, The Sixers have a signature of the man whose opinion matters most.
Deal analysis from the Sixers’ point of view
There is not much analysis required here. Durant alongside Harden and Embiid makes Philadelphia one of the best teams in the East and is strongly engaged in the conversation with the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks to get out of the East.
Perhaps the potential problem with this deal is Harris and his contract. One could assume that the Nets would rather not accept this deal if they were to go into a rebuilding after Durant and Irving’s loss. Therefore, a third team may have to participate, but the Sixers don’t have much control over the draft picks to include and are tied to Harris’ bloated contract. Ideally, the team would want picks that come with Harris as sweeteners.
