The first opportunity for high school prospects to lock down scholarships and formally sign national letters of intent began Wednesday, with the majority of the Class of 2023 inking their respective plans at the start of the three-day early signing period. Ceremonies were held, hats were taken and (many) coaches smiled at the culmination of years of hard work. (Anyone with kids knows how hard that can be.)
However, even after the first National Signing Day is over, the recruiting cycle never stops. In fact, top-100 prospects are scheduled to make commitment announcements on Thursday, and the traditional National Signing Day in February will round out classes for every team in the country. In between, teams will continue to recruit players from the transfer portal. So, if your school’s class isn’t where you want it to be, don’t worry. There is still time.
