Megan The Stallion Rocks Sailor Moon inspired costume at the Japanese Summer Sonic Festival

Megan Thee Stallion embracing her love Japanese comics During her first visit to Japan.

The 27-year-old rap star hilariously took to the stage at Summer Sonic 2022 in Osaka on Saturday (August 20) wearing a costume inspired by Sailor Moon. During her hit ensemble, Megan wore a blue, red, and white schoolgirl outfit, similar to that worn by Usagi Tsukino in the popular anime TV series.

“No, you have no idea how happy I am in Japan,” rapper Savage Comment Retweet Shows a shot of her wearing the outfit. In another tweet, she wrote, “This entire stadium in Japan has been rising for me, you can’t fake the love I’m so grateful for.”

It’s no secret that Megan is a Big fan of animationEspecially the series My hero academy. In 2019, the Houston artist recreated a look MHA Shoto Todoroki’s character by wearing a red and white wig and blue jumpsuit for several photo shoots. She previously featured her self-described ‘Todoroki Tina’ look on the cover of paper magazine.

While visiting Japan, Megan also stopped at a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure GalleryCelebrating the tenth anniversary of the anime series. I wrote on Twitter Along with clips of her enjoying the show in Tokyo.

Megan took Instagram earlier in the week to share her enthusiasm for the Japanese adventure. “I scream, I’m so excited to see you in JAPAN HOTTIES for the first time if you know me, you know I’m going crazy!!!! This is my first time in Japan,” she captioned the Summer Sonic lineup poster photos.

The hip-hop star is also scheduled to perform at Summer Sonic in Tokyo on Sunday.

Megan is currently promoting her new album, TraomazineWhich For the first time in number 4 on the Billboard 200. The group was announced just a day before its August 12th release. It was preceded by three Billboard Hot 100 hits: “Sweetest Pie” with Dua Lipa, “Plan B” and “Pressurelicious” Shows the Future.
