Josef Quinteros, better known as Bansi Quinteros, passed away earlier today. The frontman for GMS, Riktam & Bansi and 1200 micrograms amongst the rest finally ended his long battle with a rare form of blood cancer.
Born in Barcelona, Spain, he was drawn to music at a very young age and was a part of a band by the age of 17. Over time, he discovered his love for psy trance music and collaborated with multiple artists under various aliases and was responsible for producing some of the most memorable psychedelic trance chart busters in the late 90’s.
