Giants vs. Commanders score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis as NFC East rivals head to OT

The Washington Commanders and New York Giants traded scores in the first half and were tied 13-13 at MetLife Stadium. The Giants were able to rally from an early 10-0 deficit.

Daniel Jones recovered well after fumbling on the Giants’ first drive. Jones was 10 for 11 for 97 yards and 56 yards on eight attempts. Saquon Barkley had a touchdown and 60 yards rushing. New York seems to be riding Barkley today, as he has three receptions and 14 total touches in the first half.

Taylor Heinicke continues his strong connection with Terry McClarin as the Commanders’ star wideout has four catches for 60 yards and a touchdown.

It’s an important stretch for both NFC East teams as they push for a postseason berth. This will be the first of two contests three weeks apart, as they meet again in Week 15.

The momentum is on the side of the Commanders as they start the season 1-4 and have won six of their last seven games. The Giants, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four games after starting the season 6-1.
