Friday’s fourth week report: Christian McCaffrey questionable

Charlotte – Christian McCaffrey is back in the building, and he has a chance to play this weekend.

McCaffrey returned to training on Friday after missing the previous two days with a thigh injury.

He was a limited participant, and was listed as suspect in Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

Cheetah trainer Matt Rowley After training, he said he was “very optimistic” McCaffrey would be able to leave.

McCaffrey is out two straight games in the 100-yard dash, his first since 2019. He was also in the injury report last week with an ankle problem, but he played.

Three other questionable players for Team Panthers Sunday: Laviska Shenault Jr. All three had limited participants on Friday.

The other four players in the report have no injury status sent to the league, which means they are fine.

This group includes linebackers Frankie Lofo (shoulder), Ian Thomas (ankle), Xavier Woods (hamstring), and linebacker Jesse Horn (calf).

Cornerback Donte Jackson (ankle) was added to the report on Friday as a limited participant, but he doesn’t have game status and is expected to go.
