today, Nintendo has confirmed the exact closing date for Wii U and 3DS eShopswith both stores physically closing on March 27, 2023. You will still be able to download any games purchased for the foreseeable future, but any games or DLC you are looking to purchase after this date will not be available – boo.
However, in a rather strange development, Nintendo has confirmed these sales for Fire Emblem Fate It will actually end one month earlier on February 28, 2023. This is to ensure that players who purchase the full game are given enough time to reach Chapter 6, after which you are presented with three-story paths: InvadeAnd the Acquired right And the inspiration.
Whichever story path you choose, you will need to purchase and download the additional DLC required, all of which will be available until the eShop closing date on March 27, 2023. So what Nintendo has done here is effectively giving Fire Emblem Fates owners time to make their in-game choice and download the necessary DLC Before closing the eShop.
Imagine the alternative: if the full game is available until the end of March 2023, players will likely not have time to play until Chapter Six and choose their story path, which means you’ll be stuck. Nice gesture from Nintendo, all things considered!
