BMW 2022 Championship leaderboard: live updates, full coverage, golf results in round three on Saturday

BMW 2022 Championship leaderboard: Live updates, full coverage, Sunday’s Round 4 golf results

Patrick Cantlay will lead the final round of the BMW Championship, just as he did a year ago en route to the FedEx Cup title. He found his name alone at the top of the leaderboard at the age of 12 under, but not without serious contenders below him. Cantlay’s close friend and play partner in his first three days at Wilmington Country Club, Xander Shaveli, may be the best of them all as he sits just one stroke off the lead at age 11 alongside Scott Stallings.

All eyes will be on Cantlay’s recent pairing with Shaveli, but if they’re going to fail, world number 1 Scotty Scheffler will be there. The four-time winner this season sits at a 10-under, had three straight runs in the 1960s and is intent on returning to the top of the FedEx Cup standings before the season ends next week in East Lake.

While Schaeffler is set to make a trip to Atlanta regardless of his ending, Adam Scott is in an awkward position as he swings away from winning the BMW Championship while also swinging away from not qualifying for the Tour Championship. The 42-year-old also stands at number 10 and headlines those players vying to sneak inside the top 30 cut-off point by the end of the tournament.

Keep it closed here as CBS Sports will be tracking it all with live updates and analysis throughout Round 4 of the BMW 2022 Championship on Sunday.
