The Stanley Cup will be in Denver for Game 5 of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final. After taking Game 4 into overtime, the Colorado Avalanche can finish the series with another win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The avalanche starts from a Dramatic 3-2 win in overtime in Tampa, giving them a 3-1 lead. Colorado goalkeeper Darcy Quimper got off to a shaky start in the third game and stopped 37 of 39 lightning shots, Nazim Qadri came back from injury and scored the winning goal in overtime. Now, the Avs have a chance to win the Stanley Cup for the first time since 2001.
Tampa Bay’s winning streak is one loss away from its end. In order to keep their season alive, Lightning will have to do something that only one other team has done this season – beat an avalanche at home. Colorado 7-2 at the Ball Arena throughout these playoffs, and they pretty much dominated Tampa Bay there for the first two games of the series. Andrei Vasilevskiy bounced in front of the Amalie Arena crowd, and the Bolts need him for one steal in Game 5.
With the Stanley Cup on the avalanche streak, Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final begins at 8:00 PM ET on ABC and you can stream the game on fuboTV (Try for free).
