This is the terrifying moment when a group of teenagers and their parents assault a basketball referee at a Georgia church sports facility, injuring him so badly that he needed 30 stitches.
Footage of the incident shows how a “love the game” event at Stronghold Christian Church in Lithuania on Sunday afternoon turned violent.
Three young basketball players from one team and two adults can be seen chasing the referee around the field and pinning him to the ground.
Then the group proceeded to punch and kick the referee viciously, causing him serious injuries.
The referee was taken to a nearby hospital where he received 30 stitches. She is expected to make a full recovery. TMZ mentioned.
The DeKalb County Police Department is investigating the violent attack. No one has been arrested.
The bloodstained verdict was not recognized.

Three basketball players and two adults chase and hit a referee in a game in Lithuania, Georgia, on Sunday.
In the video, three basketball players from one team and two seniors can be seen chasing the referee around the field and pinning him to the ground.
The church’s pastor, Benjamin Geither, issued a statement condemning the attack.
“It is truly unfortunate about the turn of events that occurred during the basketball game that took place at our facility this weekend,” Gaither wrote on Facebook.
“While we cannot control people, we hope and pray that those who enter our facilities will act in the best way possible.”
In the video, which has since gone viral, the referee can be seen trying to escape from the teenagers and adults who are chasing him.
He tries to defend himself but is pinned to the ground, trapped and kicked over and over. Onlookers can be heard saying “No!” in the background.
Another referee was seen watching the attack but did not step in to help.

Police were called to the church after receiving reports of a person being physically assaulted at the powerful Christian Church on Sunday afternoon.
No indictment or arrest has been made for anyone in connection with the assault, but officers have confirmed that an investigation is underway.
“It seems that the referee outnumbered from the start,” basketball coach Paris Cherry told a local news station. WSBTV.
I felt awful. It was a very scary video. To see the adults instigated and then the kids follow the point that it was the kids who chased the referee at the end of the video, it’s disgusting. And apparently no adults were trying to break it up.
Although witnesses told WSBTV that the attack occurred during an amateur sports association match, the organization denied that it was a sanctionable event.
