Trance Hub

Transmission! What can we not say about the magical event. The minute is uttered, the first thing that comes to your head is spectacular visuals, a magnanimous stage, good trance, and of course, lasers lasers and more lasers! Today, Transmission has become the epitome of a perfect trance festival with some of the most awe-inspiring stage design and productions and is one that is visited by a lot of non trance listeners too who want to experience what this is all about. Having said this, we look back at how and where it all began for the festival and what makes Transmission what it is today.

Transmission started off in early 2006 in Prague. The first venue to witness the festival was the T-mobile/O2 arena at Prague and it still continues to remain the venue for the Prague edition of the festival till date.

What stands out about the festival is that every edition has a very unique theme and the entire event is planned around it.

Over the years, they have expanded the festival to Slovakia within Europe and they have taken it off shores to Australia, Asia and are looking to expand to China very soon. 2018 sees them embarking on a journey towards Germany too for the very first time. However, the only country to have experienced each and every edition of Transmission till date is Prague

Markus Schulz has played at the festival the maximum number of times, still holding a strong count of 17 times till date.

2016 saw the festival first make it’s way to Australia with “The Spiritual Gateway” at Hisense arena.

2017 was the year when the festival made it’s debut in Bangkok for “The Lost Oracle”. It truly was a milestone year for them as this was the year that even celebrated the largest edition of the festival in Australia at the “Etihad stadium” and it was the first time that the festival was held at an outdoor venue.
